On behalf of our client, a leading hospitality resort, we are seeking to recruit a Waterpark Manager to join their dynamic team in Paphos.
Role Overview:
The Waterpark Manager will lead the successful launch and ongoing operations of anew flagship Waterpark designed to elevate the resort’s leisure offering in Paphos. The Waterpark is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025 and will commence operations in March 2026. Reporting to the General Manager, the role will oversee all aspects of the Waterpark’s operation, from pre-opening planning and team recruitment to day-to-day management and service delivery. The successful candidate will establish operational systems, policies, and contracts, while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. With a strong background in Food & Beverage operations and guest service excellence, the Waterpark Manager will drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and hospitality, delivering an outstanding and memorable experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the pre-opening phase, including:
o Recruitment and training of staff across all departments.
o Development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for safety, guest services, and F&B.
o Coordination of supplier contracts, equipment installation, and operational licenses.
o Establishing service standard sand staff training aligned with luxury brand values.
· Oversee all aspects of Waterpark operations, including attractions, lifeguard supervision, F&B outlets, guest services, and maintenance.
· Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as all local and international standards for waterpark operations.
· Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization across admissions, F&B, and retail.
· Deliver proactive guest service recovery and maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
· Work closely with the resort’s executive team to ensure seamless integration with hotel services.
Requirements
· Minimum 5 - 7 years of managerial experience in a large-scale leisure facility, waterpark, or resort environment.
· A Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
· Strong F&B management background, with proven success in high-volume operations.
· Excellent knowledge of waterpark rules, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
· Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in hiring, training, and motivating large teams.
· Strong financial acumen, with a track record in budgeting, forecasting, and pre-opening projects.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills, with fluency in Greek and English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
· Eligibility to live and work in the EU is required.
