Technical Administrator

Overview

On behalf of our client, a long-established engineering company that provides design and manufacturing solutions to the dairy industry, we are seeking to recruit a Technical Administrator to join their growing team based in Nicosia.

 

Role Overview:

The role focuses on maintaining structured information flow, supporting project execution through administrative tasks, and preparing technical documentation such as equipment manuals. This is a support role within the engineering department and does not include responsibility for engineering decisions or project management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Project Administration Support

·      Update and maintain project information in internal project management and tracking systems

·      Ensure project data is accurate, current, and consistently updated across systems

·      Follow up on pending inputs and ensure required information is collected in a timely manner

·      Support communication by informing relevant internal departments of updates and assisting with communication to external parties when required

 

Technical Documentation &Manuals

·      Collect technical information from engineers, including drawings, component information and technical descriptions

·      Compile and structure equipment operation manuals

·      Organize and structure information into clear, usable, and complete documentation

 

Information Flow Support

·      Ensure that relevant information is shared with the correct people at the right time

·      Maintain visibility of project-related information within the department

·      Ensure consistency and completeness of project-related information across systems and documentation

 

General Department Administration

·      Maintain organized project and department records

·      Support engineers with administrative and documentation tasks

·      Assist in improving internal processes for documentation and communication

 

Requirements and Desirable Skills:

 

·      Degree or diploma in Business Administration or similar field

·      Experience in project administration, coordination support, or technical office environment

·      Strong organizational and documentation skills

·      Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

·      Ability to manage and structure large amounts of information

·      Strong attention to detail and accuracy

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English are essential(the role involves frequent written communication and preparation of technical documentation)

·      Experience in working in an engineering company, construction company, or project-based environment will be considered an advantage

·      Experience using project management or tracking systems will be considered an advantage

·      Experience in preparing technical documentation or equipment manuals will be considered an advantage
