On behalf of our client, a well-established and leading organisation operating within the construction materials industry in the Middle East, we are seeking to recruit a Quarry Quality Control Officer to join its respective operations in Oman.
Role Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality quarry products within a leading international construction materials organisation. Working closely with production and operational teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring product quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations in a dynamic quarry environment.
The role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with the ability to combine strong technical knowledge with a proactive approach to quality assurance, collaborating effectively with operational teams to maintain product quality, drive continuous improvement, and support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and control the quality of quarry products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
· Conduct routine sampling, testing, and inspection of raw materials and finished aggregates.
· Maintain accurate quality control records and prepare technical reports.
· Identify quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
· Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures.
· Monitor geological conditions affecting material quality and provide technical recommendations.
· Support customer quality audits and respond to technical quality-related inquiries when required .
Requirements and Desirable Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Geology.
· Previous experience in the quarrying, mining, aggregates, cement, or construction materials industry will be considered an advantage.
· Good knowledge of aggregate specifications, laboratory testing methods, and quality assurance procedures.
· Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
· Fluency in English; proficiency in Greek and/or Arabic will be considered an advantage.
· Must be willing to work in Oman.
Key Benefits
· Attractive annual remuneration package ranging from €35,000 to €45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
