Quarry Production Supervisor

Overview

On behalf of our client, a well-established and leading organisation operating within the construction materials industry in the Middle East, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Quarry Production Supervisor to join its operations in Oman.

 

Role Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quarry professional to join a well-established organisation and contribute to the efficient delivery of quarry production operations. Working closely with the Quarry Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational performance and driving productivity through effective coordination of day-to-day production activities.

The role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and modern production environment, contributing to the organisation's continued operational excellence and long-term success.

 

KeyResponsibilities:

·      Supervise day-to-day quarry production activities to ensure production targets are achieved

·      Coordinate drilling, blasting, excavation, crushing, and screening operations

·      Monitor production output and equipment utilization

·      Ensure compliance with production plans and quarry extraction schedules

·      Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime

·      Report daily production performance and operational issues to the Quarry Manager

·      Support the Quarry Manager in implementing operational improvements

 

Requirements and Desirable Skills:

·      Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering/ Geology  

·      Minimum of 3 years of experience in quarry operations, mining, or aggregate production

·      Excellent understanding of drilling, blasting, crushing, screening, and extraction processes

·      Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry

·      Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

·      Effective communication and interpersonal skills

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

·      Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications

·      Fluency in English; proficiency in Greek and/or Arabic will beconsidered an advantage

·      Must be willing to work in Oman

 

Key Benefits

·      Attractive annual remuneration package ranging from €53,000 to €70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
