Overview
On behalf of our client, a long-established engineering company that provides design and manufacturing solutions to the dairy industry, we are seeking to recruit a Production Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia.
Role Overview:
The Production Engineer will ensure efficient resource use to meet delivery, quality, and safety standards. They will oversee production output and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and Health & Safety regulations. Responsibilities include updating manufacturing instructions and supporting continuous improvement. The role also involves facilitating training for team members and substituting for managers when needed.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee production efficiency, quality, and safety.
· Ensure adherence to ISO9001 & Health & Safety regulations.
· Manage resources, reports & work orders.
· Guide and support the production team.
· Ensure all assigned production records and reports are completed appropriately.
· Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.
· Monitor time and attendance and the completion of tasks, ensure good performance and compliance with Company procedures.
Requirements and Desirable Skills:
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
· 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing will be considered an advantage.
· Knowledge of mechanical drawings.
· Strong PC skills (Excel, AutoCAD, MS Office).
· Experience of leading small group activities while assisting and developing (multi-skilled) people will be considered an advantage.
· Strong communication skills in both Greek and English.
