Office Administrator

Overview

On behalf of our client, a reputable audit and professional services firm, we are seeking to recruit an Office Administrator to join their team based in Nicosia.

Role Overview

 

The Office Administrator will support both the administrative and accounting functions of the organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations, reception and limited bookkeeping tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Manage front-desk and reception duties, including welcoming visitors, answering and directing calls, and handling general enquiries in a professional manner.

·       Monitor incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, couriers, and post) and ensure proper distribution.

·       Maintain meeting room schedules and support the coordination of appointments and internal meetings.

·       Coordinate daily office administration and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

·       Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems, including document management and archiving.

·       Prepare standard letters, forms, and internal documentation as required.

·       Liaise with suppliers and service providers and support basic office coordination.

·       Monitor and manage office supplies and place orders when necessary.

·       Provide general administrative and operational support to management.

·       Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of company information and documents.

·       Maintain simple accounting records by posting basic transactions into the accounting system.

·       Prepare invoices and receipts and assist in monitoring outstanding balances when required.

·       Support basic bookkeeping tasks, expense tracking, and filing of financial documents.

 

Requirements and Desirable Skills

 

·       Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.

·       At least 2 years of experience in a Receptionist / Office Administrator role.

·       Any exposure to bookkeeping or accounting tasks will be considered an advantage.

·       Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

·       Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·       Strong organisational and time-management skills.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Professional, reliable, and discreet.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured office environment.
