On behalf of our client, a leading hospitality resort, we are seeking to recruit an HR Officer.
Role Overview:
The HR Officer will support the efficient delivery of the resorts’ Human Resources functions, ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour law while contributing to a positive employee experience. The role will involve managing HR administration, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining accurate personnel records, and assisting with payroll activities.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare employment contracts and manage all associated documentation.
· Support the recruitment and selection process, organise interviews and communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process.
· Facilitate the onboarding, orientation, and induction of new employees.
· Oversee day-to-day HR administration and ensure compliance with company procedures.
· Maintain and update accurate personnel files and records.
· Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related queries.
· Draft, issue, and archive HR and company-related documentation.
· Coordinate and oversee staff accommodation arrangements.
· Provide payroll with accurate and timely employee information.
Requirements and Desirable Skills:
· University Degree in Human Resource Management or any other relevant field.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role, ideally within hospitality and leisure or the services sector.
· Good knowledge of Cyprus employment legislation.
· Proficiency in MS Office.
· Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and time management.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
· High level organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proactive, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
