Concrete General Manager

Overview

On behalf of our client, a well-established and leading organisation operating within the construction materials industry in the Middle East, we are seeking to recruit a highly experienced Concrete General Manager to lead its respective operations in Oman.

 

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded leader to take full responsibility for the management and continued growth of a well-established concrete business in Oman. Reporting at executive level, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and strategic growth while ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

 

The role requires a dynamic professional with the ability to combine strong operational leadership with sound commercial judgement, fostering long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve sustainable business success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Oversee end-to-end concrete production and business operations.

·       Ensure plant efficiency, output optimization, and cost control.

·       Lead and manage operations, logistics, and technical teams.

·       Drive business development and revenue growth.

·       Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and key clients.

·       Identify new market opportunities and projects.

·       Develop and execute business strategy and expansion plans.

·       Optimize supply chain and procurement (cement, aggregates, admixtures).

 

Requirements and Desirable Skills:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related degree.

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete production.

·       Strong leadership and people management skills.

·       Strong oral and written communication skills.

·       IT literate and proficient.

·       Fluency in English; proficiency in Greek and/or Arabic will be considered an advantage.

·       Strong Managerial skills with ability to coordinate people under strict deadlines and delivery.

·       Must be willing to work in Oman.

·      Attractive annual remuneration package ranging from €55,000 to €65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
