Assistant Branch Manager

Overview

On behalf of our client, a leading car rental company in Pafos, we are seeking to recruit a motivated and reliable Assistant Branch Manager to join their growing team in Pafos.

 

Role Overview:

The Assistant Branch Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch, coordinating the team, and ensuring smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction. This position isdesigned as a succession role, with the successful candidate expected to gradually assume full branch management responsibilities within the next 2–3years as part of a structured handover process.

 

Responsibilities:

·      Assist the Branch Manager in:

       ·      Overseeing daily branch operations and staff performance.

       ·      Manage a team of customer service representatives and drivers, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experience.

       ·      Coordinate vehicle rentals, manage logistics, and provide customer support across the airport and hotels.

       ·      Monitor branch performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

·      Support both office work and fieldwork, which includes driving to airport (in shifts), hotels and garages.

·      Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.

·      Act as the point of contact for escalated customer or operational issues.

·      Maintain availability (on the phone) outside regular hours to address urgent matters when required.

 

Requirements:

·      Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role(experience in car rental, hospitality, or related industries will be considered an advantage).

·      Very good people and communication skills.

·      Fluency in Greek and good command of spoken English.

·      Strong customer service orientation and positive character.

·      Valid driving licence with ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

·      Clean criminal record.

·      Availability to work branch hours: Monday - Friday(07:00/07:30 - 17:30), plus Saturday morning to midday as required.
